Are you ready to learn some wash and fold laundry tips?
Tip #1: The Name of the Game Is Preventative Maintenance!
What is the best way to eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
It doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing situation when it comes to laundry. To stay sane, the best wash and fold laundry advice is to plan ahead with your laundry schedule. Don’t wait until the pile is massive! Work on smaller, more manageable loads throughout the week instead.
You may make a laundry timetable for yourself that fits washing, drying, and folding into your daily schedule effortlessly. You might be battling to wash and fold clothes every day or every couple of days, depending on the size of your household.
While you’re cooking dinner, start a load of laundry, swap it over after you’ve eaten, and fold it while watching Netflix. Alternatively, throw clothes in while getting ready in the morning, switch it out after lunch, and fold it in the evening while watching TV. Basically, structure your laundry time around your own schedule; you don’t have to devote all of your time and energy to it.
Larger loads take longer to complete. And it’s because of this that laundry gets a bad rap. The race is won by going slowly and steadily.
We’ve all been there, let’s face it. However, a mountain of laundry is the least efficient method.
Always remember- one bite at a time!
Tip #2: Sort your Clothes Ahead of Time
Sorting your items takes the most time when starting a load of laundry. If at all possible, use separate laundry baskets or hampers for garments that need to be washed separately. You won’t have to rummage through a pile of dirty garments before tossing them in the washer this way.
Furthermore, correctly organizing your clothes goes a long way toward keeping them looking new for a long time. Towels, dark colors, and light colors should all be washed separately. You can also separate your laundry into similar fabrics and colors.
If this isn’t an option, having a system for dividing garments into your machine or basket may be useful.
Getting started on the next load of laundry isn’t as frightening if you sort first. Fresh Clothes’ mission is to make laundry day as simple as possible. Try to keep this mindset when planning your own laundry day.
You’ll make your next laundry day a little easier if you sort as you throw dirty laundry into the hamper.
Tip #3: Get Some Help!
It’s usually easier to do a difficult activity when you have someone to assist you. With an extra set of hands, the procedure will go much faster, and the burden of laundry will not rest solely on one person in the home. The best laundry tip is to have someone else do it for you.
Kids, partners, or roommates are all excellent ways to pass the time. Better yet, you may outsource your washing and folding to a professional laundry service.
